Meet Mr.Osman
My name is Mark Osman and I am the Technology Integration Coach at Connolly Middle School. I am fortunate to occupy this position and really enjoy what I am doing. I have been teaching in the Tempe Elementary School District for 27 years. I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University, and an ESL Endorsement.
I have taught computer related classes for 13 years. I taught at Hudson Elementary as the Teacher of Technology for 5 years, at McKemy Middle School as the Computer Electives Teacher for 4 years, at Gililland Middle School in the same position and for two years at Ward Traditional Academy as the Computer teacher. I have also taught computer classes for the Summer Enrichment School for Tempe Elementary Schools for the last 23 years. I really enjoy working with kids as they always surprise me with their creativity and skill level.
My new position is to support a 1:1 initiative in grades 6-8 using Chromebooks. We are starting the 2015-16 school year with 6th grade and will add computers to the incoming class each year. In two years all students will be 1:1.
